We are a group of guys that love God and desire to use the talents, that He has given us, to serve Him with. Our belief is, that the songs we play should have the message of Jesus in them. Far too many groups have good music, but no message. We feel like we need to be "busy about our Father's business". That is why we call ourselves The Remnant. In the day in which we are living, we see the Scriptures being fulfilled. The time of Jesus' return could be any day. What are you doing to tell a lost and dying world that Jesus died for their sins? We are trying to show people Jesus, not our talents.
The music that we play has been described as bluesy, soulful, and fun. Whether we are playing a worship song or an old hymn with a new twist, we want our listeners to be impacted for the cause of Christ. We play at churches, private parties, community events, restaurants, festivals, and most any open door we can. We do not charge to play at an event. How can you put a price on the Gospel? We just trust God to provide our needs to cover the expenses we incur.
Please pray for us, that God would provide us with more opportunites to share this ministry with south Georgia, north Florida, and anywhere else He wants us to go.
